The Quel are an armadillo-like species who once ruled the Dragonrealm. They thrive in underground caverns and cling to the walls as they sleep. The warlock Shade once needed Cabe Bedlam's power in order to revive the Quel and allow them to return to power, in the process ridding Shade of his curse. The Quel's reign of power preceded the Seekers.
