Gloria Esteworm, a parody of Gloria Estefan and her band the Miami Slime Machine, appeared in a 1996 episode of Sesame Street at the Worm World Music Festival. She performed the song "Mambo I, I, I" with her band, the Miami Slime Machine. "Mambo I, I, I" was included on the 1997 CD Hot! Hot! Hot! Dance Songs, with Gloria listed in the credits. The album identifies Christine Faith and Alfonso Thornton as voicing the Miami Slime Machine worms.
