The fanfiction takes place two years after the events of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver and is centered around 11-year-old protagonist Kensington "Kene" Leef, who, with his travelling partners Jack, Amanda, and Zane, attempt to become the greatest trainers they can be in their own way, either by earning badges or competing in contests. The four also often come into contact with a newly revived Team Rocket.
