The Gigorans of the planet Gigor divided themselves into groups known as home-clans. These home-clans contained roughly fifty members, and were further divided into three to five family groups. Each home-clan was led by the most skilled hunter. There was no higher government on Gigor than the home-clans, and it was a very unsettled and had no technology. At some point during the Old Republic or Rise of the Empire eras, Galactic Republic scouts came to the world, but did not notice any of the shy Gigorans.
