Scythe-arms consist of two blades with a connecting handle that was strapped to an arm at elbow and wrist. One blade projected forward, and other, like a long spur, was behind the elbow. Brier was already familiar with them; and Jame, though new, liked the weapon, possibly because in some aspects its use was similar to those of her claws. She got a white stone, signifying excellence in her class, for the skill with scythe-arms. She also used them effectively in a fight with the Noyat.
