The Yarn Shop was owned by Granny Mayfleet in Ember. Granny would unravel old clothing, wound the yarn into balls and the thread onto spools, and sell the yarn to people so that they could make new things. It was once a very tidy place, but with Granny's old age and forgetful mind, the shop is a mess. It presumably closes down after Granny dies and Lina and Poppy move out.
