The PWA World Heavyweight Championship is a championship belt defended exclusively in the Premiere Wrestling Alliance. It was established on June 11, 2006, and remained active until August 2008 when the GWF ceased operation. It remained dormant when the GWF returned in early 2009, but the title finally returned in December 2009 when the GWF was born again as the PWA. The title is unofficially recognized as the technical wrestling division of the PWA.
