President Powers already led a minority coalition before the elections, but with the massive drop in votes of his coalition partner he realised that coalition was too big of a risk. The coalition only had 169 seats in Presidium. The support of the two Nationalist parties during the formation of the previous coalition made them the ideal partners for a continuing of Mr. Powers' presidency. The coalition was named 'Powers II'.
