The Dowry Farm Estate is a council estate in the Rubery area of south Birmingham. It is bordered to the east by Cockhill Lane and Rubery Hill, the south by the A38 road, to the west by Callowbrook Lane and to the north by Rubery Lane South. The estate takes its name from the farmhouse that was located on the northern side of Rubery Lane South (although it was then called just Rubery Lane). Construction of the estate began in 1957 and was built by Wimpey. The estate is home to some of Birmingham's southernmost tower blocks.
