Ashobi Karuna was a Human male who lived on Torgu-Va in 2367. He was missing his right arm and has lived to be quite old with a number of injuries. He lived in an apartment with his wife, Akiko Karuna at the Federation Battle Station Torgu-Va. They have had seven children. Ashobi served in the Starfleet 4th Torgu-Va Assault Battalion, Company C, Active Reserve earning the rank of Gunnery sergeant. During his military career on Torgu-Va he has earned the Legion of Merit award. Ashobi is credited with killing five Tarn. (TNG novel: The Forgotten War)
