After their sensei, Saya was sent on an A-Rank mission, Daichi introduced the idea of following her and helping out. At first, both Anya and Hisana showed reluctance but he eventually convinced them to go. They were then attacked by Kō whom assumed they were Saya and Hisana was frozen with the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Prison Technique, Kō then shattered the crystal, killing her. Daichi attacked her, unveiling his Sharingan, but she used the same technique to kill him.
