A Xeelee flower is a small, flower-like device used to make construction material. It works when the control unit is removed in sunlight, sufficiently turning energy into matter. It is unknown if there are any other ways to make construction material, however. It only appears in the short story "The Xeelee Flower" in the Vacuum Diagrams.
