Schultz's Grocery was a deli-grocery located in New York City in the 1940s. In 1940, the grocery was purchased by Abigail "Ma" Hunkel and her brother-in-law Gus Hunkel with his winnings from the track. Schultz's was frequently the target of racketeers, but Ma Hunkel defended her store both in her normal identity as well as in her guise as the Red Tornado.
