Carlos Rafael Gutierrez (September 22, 1986) is a minor league right handed pitcher in the Minnesota Twins organization currently assigned to the Twins' Florida State League Advanced-A affiliate, the Fort Myers Miracle. He is 6'3" tall, and weighs 205 lbs. Gutierrez was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and was the closer for the University of Miami baseball team that competed in the College World Series this past season. Over the regular season, he struck out 72 batters in 49.2 innings pitched. He is just two years removed from Tommy John elbow reconstruction surgery.
