Paul Fess is a former NASCAR driver from Mt. Pleasant, PA. He competed in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Fess' debut came in 1978, when he competed at Daytona. Starting 32nd in the field of forty, Fess had midrace transmission issues and was left to a 28th place finish. The other two races came in 1979, when Fess returned to Daytona to compete in the prestigious Daytona 500. Starting 23rd this go round, Fess again had midrace issues but still finished a career-best 22nd. His other race came at Michigan, where even more midrace issues left Fess 32nd.
