The Dread Realm is a whole world (and as such is displayed in a World Map form) in Dragon Quest VI, it's home to the strongest enemies in the main storyline as well as towns and locations all governed by the Archfiend. According to some characters, it's not made of dreams nor reality. The final dungeon lies in this world, across the Sea of Nothingness.
