Sulan was a male Nautolan Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order during the time of the Cold War and the renewed war between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire. Sulan attempted to connect with akk dogs through Force-bonding exercises, but his attempts ended when Sulan's Padawan was killed by one of the creatures. Stationed on Taris, he trained a sub-race of Force-sensitive Rakghouls, known as the Nekghouls, to learn the ways of the light side.
