Shadow Lightning was a juzimai who plagued the Toritaka lands. Their lair was within a forest near the Shinomen Mori. In 1170 they were betrayed by Kyodo, a merchant who used to work with them, selling the loot they take from their activities. They were completely destroyed by the Jade Legion led by the Jade Champion Kuni Daigo. He was interested in them because they had been dealing with jade, a material Daigo was eagerly seeking for his ensuing expedition to the Shadowlands.
