Elmo can be customized with the use of a free mobile app to say a child's name, sing, play select games in different subjects and level, and plays an instrumental lullaby at night. Names can be picked from a bank of up to 10,000 and he has up to 350 set responses. The app can also be used independently of Elmo, with three games, Cooking with Cookie, Spot the Animals, and Flashcard Fun.
