The Ebony Blade is a Daedric artifact of Mephala found in the Crypt of Hearts in Rivenspire. It is used by the lich Nerien'eth. When interacted with in the Crypt of Hearts dungeon, it will summon him. When listening to his dialouge it becomes apparent that the blade has influenced him into torturing his wife.
