Redferns was a car showroom on Weatherfield Road East who needed a new window cleaner in July 2015 after their previous one was sent down for ABH. Kevin Webster was doing some work there that day and recommended Tim Metcalfe. He came back to Coronation Street and told Tim about the job, advising him to get down there and see Howard, the manager, who looked like John McEnroe. Tired of being negatively compared to Kevin by Sally Webster for his lack of ambition, Tim failed to keep the appointment.
