North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) is a land-grant doctoral/research intensive university located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded in 1891, NC A&T now (fall 2005) enrolls 11,103 students from across the United States and 33 foreign countries[citation needed]. NC A&T is the largest historically black university in North Carolina.
