In the different regions of Elona, Sunspear bounties will yield various amounts of promotion points. Only beginning characters can get Sunspear bounties on the Istan Islands. But anywhere else (Kourna, Vabbi, The Desolation), all characters should get the bounty and gain Sunspear Promotion Points. In Hard Mode: The additional points are only gained for those slain prior to killing the boss.
