The Day the Earth Stood Still was a defunct 2008 movie that was going to be released the day the earth stood still, but "unfortunately" the people who made it who thought that on September 11, 2001 (what kind of fucking random date is that bullshit anyway) the world would end. Or something. Mainly, pretty much, everybody who watched The Day the Earth Stood Stll thought it was a bunch of bullshit and was a result of the producers having too much time on their hands.
