Jason Edgar is the cousin of Jerry Edgar, and an employee of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. He served in the Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm. In September of 2006, he assisted LAPD Detective Harry Bosch and FBI Special Agent Rachel Walling in their search for the Echo Park Bagman by allowing them to use DWP headquarters for surveillance. He was later questioned by Lieutenant Abel Pratt, who he identified to Bosch.
