In melee games, Fel Stalkers appear as Neutral Hostile creeps. Players can obtain one with the Spiked Collar item. Despite not being classified as Undead, they are considered Undead for targeting by spells such as Holy Light and Death Coil. In Reign of Chaos, they're called Felhounds.
