Buz Suraci served as an additional puppeteer on The Muppet Movie in 1979. From 1980-1981, he performed in the original touring cast of the first Sesame Street Live show, A Sesame Street Mystery: The Case of the Missing Rara Avis. Suraci played the stage puppet version of Oscar the Grouch and also wore a suit as a constable in the New York City Department of Missing Birds.
