Or-Tal was a male Miradorn serving in the Federation Starfleet as a security officer in the late-24th century. In 2384, Or-Tal was the chief of security aboard the Sovereign-class starship, USS Atlas. In March of that year, while on shore leave on Orion, he was arrested following a brawl in an adult entertainment center. According to witnesses, Or-Tal assaulted and incapacitated five members of the local police force. Captain Bateson had Ambassador Císol of the Federation Embassy on Orion expedited his bail.
