The Northern Amazon Tribe High Councilwomen were the 10 most powerful Amazons of the Northern Amazon Tribe. They were chosen by Cyane I to join the Council to help her rule the tribe with justice. They had powerful Shamanic abilities. Many years later Xena returned to Siberia and with the remaining members of the tribe, defeated Alti by impaling her on a branch. This freed the souls of the Amazons from the Land of the Dead. They were now able to cross over into Eternity.
