Howard Matthew Carranda II (11 February 1951 — 14 June 2007) was king of New Herswick from 1984 to 2007. His regnal name was Howard II. He inherited the throne upon the death of his mother, Queen Claire II. Howard II himself died in 2007 during a visit to the Vathau Islands, and his oldest daughter inherited the throne. Howard II's reign lasted for 23 years and three months.
