Doctor April Wade was a popular female physician born in 2265. By 2371, she worked at the University of Nairobi. She was nominated for the prestigious Carrington Award in 2368 and 2371, but lost both times. It was said that her first nomination at the age of 103 came prematurely. When Julian Bashir was unable to determine Grand Nagus Zek's illness, Quark suggested maybe he ought to see Wade instead. (DS9: "Prophet Motive") This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
