The Catporer was the leader of the Catpire. During the Clone Wars, the Catporer met with agents of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who convinced the Catporer to launch the Invasion of the Catpire as part of the ongoing war. Palpatine later used this decision to his ends during the rise of the Galactic Empire. A later Catporer was named Aq-med.
