At 2:14 pm on Day 1, the L.A. County Fire Department responded to reports of a large explosion in a remote part of the North Valley, where Alexis Drazen had wiped out the remainder of Ira Gaines' mercenary group. Firemen at the scene found several corpses inside the trailer's remains, and the body of Kevin Carroll, who had been shot at point-blank range. (Findings at CTU)
