Elder Kai's Unlock Ability is the name given to Elder Kai's technique that allows him to unlock Gohan's full potential. It is named in the Budokai video game series. (Note: Future Gohan also has this form in Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road even though he never gained it in the anime or manga.) The technique involves a ritual where Elder Kai dances around the recipient of the enhancement, followed by a long session where the recipient must meditate while Elder Kai draws out his hidden potential.
