Ethan Coen—one half of the filmmaking team known as the Coen brothers, is an Academy Award winner. Films made with his brother Joel Coen include Barton Fink, Fargo, The Man Who Wasn't There, and No Country for Old Men. The brothers write, direct and produce their films jointly, although until recently Joel Coen received sole credit for directing and Ethan for producing. They often alternate top billing for their screenplays while sharing film credits for editor under the alias Roderick Jaynes.
