In 1981, Dolly Toy created a pair of Sesame Street themed lamps. On one lamp, Ernie and Bert stand on the base, each carrying a suitcase. They do not wear their traditional striped shirts. The shade features a train, with Big Bird as the engineer and Little Bird sitting on the coal car. The other 1981 lamp was decorated with a figurine of Big Bird reading a book in his nest. In 1989, Dolly Toy made another Sesame lamp, featuring Big Bird and Cookie Monster as Sesame Babies.
