The Wales Rally GB was the last round in the 2009 WRC Championship. It took place from the 23rd-25th October. The rally was won by Citroen's Sebastien Loeb, who took the title after the man 1 point ahead of him, Mikko Hirvonen, crashed. Hirvonen took second place and Loeb's team-mate Dani Sordo finished in third place, just 1 second behind Hirvonen. This means that Loeb has won six driver's titles on the trot, keeping him as the most successful driver in history.
