The scrimshaw was made available to be won again from 18 February 2016 to 22 February 2016 and 17 November 2016 to 21 November 2016, during the 'The Mimic Rises' and 'Revenge of the Giant Mimic' Treasure Hunter promotions, as a potential reward from large and huge loot crates. As of 4 September 2017, the scrimshaw can now also be obtained from the Motherlode Maw.
