Susan Elizabeth Nelson (née Flynn; 12 November 1885 - 18 October 1997) was an American supercentenarian. She was born in Richland, Pulaski, Missouri on 12 November 1885 as the daughter of Luther and Victoria Patterson Flynn. She married Fred Nelson in Waynesville, Pulaski, Missouri on 16 August 1906. The couple had five children: John Otto, Emma, Leo and Fred. Fred died in 1946. She lived in Missouri for her entire life and died in Ava, Douglas, Missouri on 18 October 1997, aged 111 years, 340 days.
