Exit 33 of the Cross Island Parkway is one of the larger intersections on the Cross Island. The exit going southbound takes you to Interstate 295 south, while Exit 33 northbound takes you to Interstate 295 north towards the Throgs Neck Bridge. Before the Cross Island Parkway was aligned with the Belt Parkway, the exits were aligned with the Southern State Parkway. Due to the SSP alignment, this exit was known as Exit 4.
