Jack Tantor was a pirate who was obsessed with Electrum, moreover the wealth it could bring, who eventually came into possession of a crew—the Conquistadors, who were dedicated to assuming leadership of a planet, or if it was possible a system or a galaxy. Eventually, his first mate Xandert Raohlis would end up staging a mutiny against Tantor ending with Tantor being sentenced to over 30 years in Maxsec Eight. He was a protégé of Khar Ultor and would eventually inherit his personal wealth as well as his ship, the Revenge of Xim, a ship which would continue to inspire fear with Tantor as captain.
