The Permanent Senior Undersecretary of Education and Information was the senior bureaucratic official within the Department of Education and Information of the Solarian League, and the actual person in charge of the League's propaganda machine despite the office's nominal subordination to the Minister of Education and Information. Together with the fellow Permanent Senior Undersecretaries of the Interior, Commerce, Foreign Affairs, and the Treasury, this official formed the Quintet that actually ran the government of the Solarian League.
