Snotty was the person in charge of beaming on Planet Spaceball's Capital. He is based on Scotty from Star Trek. It is shown that he does not know that women should be addressed as "ma'am", because when he was told by Commanderette Zircon to beam Skroob, he says, "Yes sir, immediately sir". He also seems at least a little inept at beaming, as when he tries to beam President Skroob down from his office, Skroob emerges at the other end with his head on backwards. Despite this, Comanderette claims that she got "beamed" by Snotty twice, and found it wonderful.
