These people can speak mentally with others. It is easier to communicate when near the targeted person, and even easier with physical contact, but there is no maximum distance between the communicator and the target. The only known limit is that they must both be alive and in the same time. The ability also gives limited mind reading. However, to date Elle and Journey have both only used it once, accidentally, to call out for help, and they have not displayed the mind reading aspect yet.
