Savidge is best known for her roles as Nurse Lucy Papandrao, a regular on St. Elsewhere, and as Commander Amy Helfman, a recurring character on JAG. Her role on the former series was her first television work; among her co-stars on the show were fellow Star Trek alumni Chad Allen, Jeff Allin, Ed Begley, Jr., Ronny Cox, Bruce Greenwood, Norman Lloyd, Deborah May, France Nuyen, Brian Tochi, Alfre Woodard, and Jane Wyatt.
