The oldest verified living man is 113-year-old Israel Kristal of Israel, while the oldest verified living person overall is an Italian woman Emma Morano, who is 117. The oldest authenticated human age in scientific history is 122 years, 164 days in the case of Jeanne Calment. Scientists estimate that the maximum possible hypothetical lifespan is in the range of 125-130 years. Thus, claims over 130 may be considered to be "myth"...claims outside the range of statistical possibility.
