The fundamentals of the Tron system are based on the concepts of genetic algorithms (computations that improve on themselves based on past performance) and quantum teleportation (instantaneously moving objects over great distances by deconstructing and reconstructing them). The act of "digitization" is the process of taking particles of physical matter and teleporting them it into the quantum computer that is the Tron system as digital code. It involves sending the particle information into the computer, while the hydrogen and oxygen stays in the real world.
