On the 17th day of July, 1657, Prince Don Giovanni-Maria firstly married The Noble Catherine Attardo, daughter of The Nobles Giuseppe and Rosella Attardo, at the Cathedral of Assumption, Citadel, Victoria, Gozo, Malta. On the 23th day of October, 1660, Prince Don Giovanni-Maria secondly married Miss Valencia Vella, daughter of Filippo and Maria Vella, at the Cathedral of Assumption, Citadel, Victoria, Gozo, Malta.
