It is located in a seemingly abandoned paved plot that once served as a runway in School District 23. The obelisk now stands at the location where the Spaceplane Orion made an emergency landing on the district. The obelisk is made out black stone, on its front are Orbit Portal Company's dedication to the survivors of the incident, and uses part of a quote from Blaise Pascal's Pensées. Full quote:
