Akak owned a small starship, the Cedar Pride, which he used to travel from planet to planet, selling items he had picked up on previous planets, and buying items he thought he could sell on other planets. He usually made runs to several Rim planets in a row before returning to the Core Worlds to sell his purchases. He did not sell everything, however, at the request of his daughter, Lymie. She traveled with him at all times and asked that he keep a small memento from all of his travels. As a result, the trader decorated his ship in the styles of hundreds of planets.
